039-馬偕的詩-最後的住家
這是馬偕醫師（Dr. George Leslie Mackay）（1844-1901）的詩，好幾年前在一個音樂會中知道的，馬偕醫師曾經向上帝宣誓，希望能讓他留在福爾摩沙：“Once again I promise you, though it means suffering unto death, I wish to spend my life here, in this place I have chosen, to be used of you. May God help me”（我再一次與你立誓，就是痛苦至死，我一生也要在此地——我所選擇的地方，被你差用，願上帝幫助我）
在他的晚年, 他還寫下這首詩：My Final Resting Place，然後我以前竟然大膽的嘗試翻譯成義大利文（又一反省與驚訝！）
